Welcome to the Latimer & Ley Hill Parish Council website

Latimer Parish lies in the Chiltern Hills, near the Bucks/Herts border.  Founded in the mid 19th Century, it comprises the villages of Latimer, Ley Hill and Tylers Hill.  It comes under Chiltern District Council in the County of Buckinghamshire and had a population of 1021 in the 2001 census, with 396 dwellings.  It is in the Green Belt and part of the Chilterns AONB.

Changes to Pot Hole and Street Light Reporting

As from February 1, the County Council is encouraging all residents and Parish Councils to use its online reporting system to make them aware of potholes and defective street lights.

Significant improvements have been made to this tool which allows customers to receive updates direct to their inbox on how the council is resolving the issue. If a customer who phones in feels that a pothole or streetlight defect presents a risk of serious injury, they will be put through to the council’s Emergency Team. […]
